Love her or hate her, Kim Kardashian West has spent the last decade becoming an enduring pop-culture icon. Though it’s unclear exactly what propelled her to such stardom where others would be mere flashes in the pan (considering her big claims to fame were being Paris Hilton’s stylist and starring in a sex tape with Ray J), she managed the genuinely impressive feat of turning her 15 minutes into a reality TV and retail empire.

Kardashian has made her name as a socialite, but as someone who “hate[s] the taste of alcohol,” her nights on the town don’t involve too much booze (unlike her sister, Khloe, who likes to party ‘til the break of dawn).
